People Of Kolay Market

Kolay Market in Kolkata is the largest wholesale vegetable market in Kolkata..Kolkata receives most of its vegetables supply from rural areas.Rows and rows of trucks line up filled with cabbages,potatoes,eggplants,pumpkins and any other vegetable available in the season. Men start unloading the big trucks in the morning carrying 50 kg at least each time as the market is open 24/7 and people are working in shifts of 12 hours or more.
